Clamp Rack Generator

About Clamp Rack Generator

Clamp Rack Generator makes wall racks for clamps: a shelf of slots for F-clamps, bar, one-handed and parallel clamps, or a rail for spring clamps. Pick your clamp from BESSEY's and Jorgensen's bar sizes or measure yours; each slot takes your printer's sliding fit, the spacing comes from the clamp's widest part, and the shelf and its ribs grow with the clamps' weight. It prints upside down with no supports, comes in modules of whole slots that fit your bed, and screws to the wall.

Frequently asked questions

How much weight does it hold?
The tool gives no load figures: a printed rack depends on the filament, the print and the wall. Heavy clamps get a thicker shelf and full ribs; print them in PETG or ASA, not PLA, and not where a falling clamp could hurt someone.
Why does it print upside down?
With the shelf's top on the bed, the ribs under each tooth rise up the back and nothing hangs in the air, so no supports are needed and the top where the clamps rest is smooth.
My clamp is not in the list. What then?
Choose Measure your bar and type its width and thickness; set its weight and its widest part, the handle or the jaw across the rack.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Clamp Rack Generator runs in the browser, and the geometry is built on your computer. It is free; you need a free NabiMakes account to download the files.
